Responsible contact on behalf of X4A MarketWire: Rubinho Gonzales. Privacy inquiries may be sent through Contact us in Legal Information.
2. Data minimization
X4A MarketWire is designed to collect as little personal information as reasonably practical for the service being provided. Public reading does not require an X4A reader account. X4A does not create a cross-site advertising profile from ordinary public reading and does not sell public-reader personal information.
3. Technical security and forensic processing
The hosting, network and security environment may process technical request and security data such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, response status, protocol and user-agent information for delivery, availability, abuse prevention, detection of malicious activity, incident response, evidence preservation, troubleshooting and forensic investigation. This technical security processing is separate from the optional X4A External Content preference and is not switched off by selecting Essential only.
Where Regulation (EU) 2016/679 applies, necessary and proportionate security processing may rely on legitimate interests in protecting the service, users, infrastructure and legal interests under Article 6(1)(f), or on another applicable legal basis. Information may be preserved or disclosed to competent authorities where this is required or permitted by applicable law, including in connection with security incidents, suspected unlawful activity, legal claims or official requests.
4. Contact us
When Contact us is used, X4A processes the supplied email address, optional name, message, CAPTCHA data and short-lived pseudonymous abuse-control information to receive, secure and answer the inquiry. The X4A application does not create a WordPress post or persistent contact-database record from the form. Messages are delivered through the local mail path to the configured internal mailbox.
5. X4A browser storage and site-wide preference
X4A uses limited local or session browser storage for requested functions such as theme preference, navigation/return-state behavior, chart/ticker display state and the site-wide privacy preference. The privacy preference is stored locally under an X4A-controlled key and records only whether governed external content is allowed. If no valid preference is available, X4A defaults to Essential only.
The October 6, 2026 technical audit found no X4A application cookie being set on the audited public routes.
6. External market widgets and remote publisher media
TradingView market widgets and remote publisher preview images are optional external content. Under Essential only, X4A does not initiate the governed TradingView or remote-preview requests. If a user selects Allow external content, that single choice applies site-wide, including all governed TradingView charts on Timeline and ticker pages. X4A does not ask separately for every chart, card or widget.
When external content is allowed, the external provider receives ordinary connection information required to serve that content. Normal clicked links to third-party sites remain ordinary navigation and are not controlled by the External Content preference.
7. First-party site statistics
The WordPress installation may use a locally operated statistics component, currently WP Statistics, for first-party audience measurement, traffic trends and operational insight. Depending on its configuration, such processing can include page and referrer information, timestamps, browser or device characteristics, IP-related information and IP-derived geolocation. This component is separate from the X4A External Content preference and may be reconfigured or disabled independently by the operator. It is not used by X4A as a cross-site advertising system.
Where European or other privacy law applies, first-party statistics are processed only where an applicable legal basis exists. Depending on the actual configuration and jurisdiction, this may include legitimate interests in operating, measuring, improving and protecting the service, subject to the required balancing of interests, or consent where consent is legally required. The operator may disable or reconfigure the statistics component where appropriate.
8. Legal bases where GDPR applies
Where Regulation (EU) 2016/679 applies, processing may rely, depending on context, on performance of a service requested by the user, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), or consent where consent is legally required. Consent is not the only legal basis under the GDPR. Consent-based processing may be withdrawn for the future.
9. International processing and rights
X4A MarketWire is operated from the United States. Mandatory privacy rights that apply to a user in another jurisdiction are not waived merely by the operator's location. Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or other privacy remedies and may be entitled to complain to a competent supervisory authority.
